“We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known. We honor that spiritual connection with kindness, respect, trust and affection.” – Brené Brown.
This is a personal thank you note to all the women who gathered in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, September 19, 2015 to Elevate Your Brilliance! You allowed yourselves to be both vulnerable and powerful and you connected with kindness, respect, trust and affection.
When we are able to look into someone else’s perspective we experienced one of the most valuable things we can do. What hope is gained when we find ourselves saying, “What, you too? I thought I was the only one!” It is amazing that we are all different however our experiences are eerily similar. This revelation brings along with it intellectual and emotional intimacy and releases relational power for us to accept what is and to change what needs to be from a place of worthiness. When this happens we can sit at the table of unlimited possibilities.
At Elevate Your Brilliance we explored possibilities and wisdom. Our language included “Dominate Your Power”, “Monetize Your Message” and “Walk into Your Worthiness”. We entered the room as leaders with our individual dreams, ideas and questions. We left the day “networked” and in touch with the game changer within us.
Okay so its confession time. I have planned many events in my life. I am good at it. IBM marketing and management will teach you that over 22 years. However Elevate your Brilliance was different. My vision for the day lived in my head, my heart and my spirit. I wanted to get it right. I knew authenticity was the critical to the day’s success.
I wanted to gift warp the magnificent power of Lethia Owens’ messages about market domination and personal branding in personal empowerment. I was driven by knowledge that sometimes women have to be reminded to treat themselves like someone they love. And I know sometimes it is difficult for us to separate ourselves from our circumstances. Both can get in the way of our success. As I watched attendees unwrap their gifts I knew they were also saying “Yes” to their power within.
I leave you with these thoughts. While you elevate your brilliance, embrace that individual inside you that has ideas, strengths and beauty like no one else. Be the best version of you. Live your life your way.
Please join the conversation. Like, comment and share. Your thoughts are important to me.
Until next time, remember,-
You are not alone.
-
You are not your circumstances.
-
You have everything within you to live a purpose-filled life.
